Contessa Fly Fishing is a fully outfitted guide service, committed to providing our customers with the finest tackle available. For fly fishing trips, we provide customers with reels from Tibor and Abel, and rods from Sage and G. Loomis. Our light tackle arsenal includes reels from Shimano and Daiwa and rods from a variety of manufactures including Shimano, Ocean Master and Jarvis Walker. Waders for shore fishing are furnished by Orvis and Simms.

Of course, you are always welcome and encouraged to bring your own equipment. For fly fishing we generally recommend 8-11 weight outfits rigged with full floating or clear intermediate fly lines. Light tackle anglers should plan to bring 7 foot medium to heavy action rods with 12-15 pound test line. Hand tied flies and a wide variety of plugs are available at no additional charge.

Ice and beverages are included in the price of skiff trips and beach trips.
